GEEZER YOUNG

Sadly, Muzz passed away last year, and his physical presence is no longer with us. However, his music lives on and will continue to be remembered. We were proud to have called him a friend and honored to have worked with him.

Over the past 20 years, Geezer Young became a cult figure in the Belgian underground blues scene. Born in Pennsylvania, Muzz Horn (aka “Geezer Young”) delivered a unique Mississippi Delta blues style performed on an 8-string resonator guitar.

From playing at CBGB in New York to jamming with Buddy Miles at the Blues Corner in Brussels, Horn’s trademark sound charmed many, leading him to open for John Mayall in 2010. His work with Nico Backton and Doublewood earned Geezer even greater appreciation in recent years.
